No, you didn’t read that wrong–this is a Bloody MARIA. If you’re a fan of spice AND tequila, this is your cocktail. I love this drink in the fall and winter, especially!
Disclaimer: This is a collaboration with Klement’s Sausage. I am proud to support a Wisconsin based company with such a delicious product. All opinions are my own.
Have you ever seen one of those Bloody Marys that comes with almost an entire meal as a garnish? Those are always so intriguing to me. Garnishes in general are always fun for me. I used to work at a Jimmy Buffet restaurant and we had to make different animal inspired garnishes for various cocktails. During a busy night, those were kind of a pain, but the girls love when I randomly whip out my pineapple parrot garnish for a smoothie.
For Bloody Marias, I think a simple cheese and sausage garnish is suffice, but not just any sausage will do. Chorizo is huge in our house, especially for breakfast or my famous cheesy fundito dip. Did you know Klement’s makes a chorizo snack stick? It’s our new favorite!
We love the Klement’s snack sticks because they’re shelf stable and perfect for on-the-go snacking. I can throw a package in our snack bag and not worry about them during Saturday sports or heading on a road trip. Everyone in our family has a favorite variety, right now I’m also loving the Sriracha ones and the girls request the Teriyaki in their lunchboxes.
