So what happens when you break out in hives from your prescribed prenatal vitamin? You seek a more natural one! Enter: UpSpring!
I’ve never been great about taking vitamins, yet I’m always sure to be diligent when it comes to prenatals. This time around, I developed an allergy to the variety I was prescribed. Hives during pregnancy are a no go, so I had to seek out a more natural variety. The ingredient list on the one that I was originally taking was kinda scary…what is half of that junk?! When I was offered a chance to try , I was game, especially since it’s a mom-founded and run company. GIRL POWER!
With UpSpring, you’re getting natural varieties of essential vitamins for pregnancy. Instead of a synthetic folic acid, Vitamin B9 is used. Daily, you take 3 soft gels and one alpha omega tablet, which promotes brain health. Moms get 100% of the daily value of 11 essential nutrients, plus omega-3! I really like that these are easy on your stomach too. Some vitamins can be hard to digest, these are great.
Aside from the prenatal vitamins, they offer other varieties for mothers. I am interested in trying the breastfeeding helpers, Milkflow featuring fenugreek. Since I’ve had issues on that front in the past, I’m doing as much research as I can on the topic. I also love the breast support pillow and the nipple cream. Oh the things we go through as a mother!
