When I shared this list of 2019 Disney movie releases with the family, we were all SO pumped. Our popcorn buckets are going to get a workout this year! 

We aren’t a family who sees every movie that comes out through the theaters. As a family of 6, with a little one especially, it gets expensive! That being said, I feel like Disney movies are in their own category. The twins and Ricky have their Marvel/Star Wars obsession, while Gabby and I love our Disney classic stories. We use these movies as a great opportunity for one-on-one dates with the kids.

There are many ways you can save on trips to the movies!

1. Check product packaging! We always find great movie ticket deals on things like cereal boxes, granola bars and more. Since we’re always buying these items anyway, they’re a great way to get free tickets. 
2. Disney Movie Rewards. Do you scan in all of the codes when you buy a movie for home? You can rack up points for free movie tickets or deals…even free movies! I love the Movies Anywhere app, too–you can watch your favorites from any device. No more worries about scratched disks. 
3. Check for seasonal popcorn buckets. Most money for us is spent at the concession stands. When we discovered our favorite theater, Celebration, has a seasonal bucket deal, we jump on the chance. For around $40, you get coupons, plus 2 fills DAILY. I will honestly get popcorn on the way home from the store sometimes for movie nights at home! Best part: you can bring an additional bucket in each movie trip, so we save our old ones.
4. Wait for the discount theater. Yes, it’s hard sometimes…especially with a buzzy movie, but a discount theater can save SO much money! Also check for discount days, usually a Tuesday, at your normal theater, too.
