Did you know the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the world’s LARGEST and most successful fundraising and education event for breast cancer ever created?! The 5K races helps bring awareness to the breast cancer movement. Every event is such an emotional experience, especially once you see the celebrations of surviorship and families honoring members.
Of the funds raised, 75% goes right to the local organizations. Also, people of all levels of fitness are welcomed with open arms. Sprint, jog or walk–whatever you want. You all know that I’m not a huge runner, but I will do what I can for a cause!

Since I’m a mom of 3 girls, I want to set an example of good health for my girls–I need to take care of myself! We have many personal connections with breast cancer and finding a cure in the near future is essential. Spreading awareness, information and tips for early detection is essential.
