Who wants to be in the kitchen when there’s a party going on? These easy game day dips are sure to keep everyone coming back for more. Dip, baby, dip!
I’ll be honest here: for me, game day is all about the food and conversation. I love to make an awesome spread for everyone to enjoy themselves–watching the game or not!
While it’s fun to make delicious food, I don’t want to be in the kitchen when there’s fun to be had elsewhere. These dips are perfect because you can make them ahead of time to enjoy all night long.
To get the essentials for our party, I always head to Meijer. From food and drinks to plates and even great table settings, they always have everything I need. Plus, using mPerks I can save money and earn rewards.
With 4 kids in the house, Tyson® frozen chicken products are always on our shopping list. The chicken tenders are Gabby’s new favorite meal and the twins love the Any’tizers Buffalo Bites as an appetizer.
As a mom, I appreciate that Tyson Strips are 100% all natural–made from chicken raised with no added hormones or steroids. The Any’tizers are a snack I feel comfortable giving my family since they’re packed with protein and a kick of flavor. We love to try different varieties each time!
Did you know that Tyson frozen chicken packages have an A+ Rewards label on the back that you can hand into your school? We collect them and they truly add up quickly–just ask if your teachers collect them!
Hands down, Snyder’s of Hanover® has the best pretzels, especially for dipping. They’re super sturdy and hold up with modern flavor twists, plus the perfect amount of salt! We prefer the mini pretzels for our cheese dips, perfect for little hands, too!
For this spread, I made Wisconsin Beer Cheese Dip and a Veggie Blue Cheese Dip. They’re great with both the pretzels and chicken tenders, so mix and match! I also found the Veggie Blue Cheese Dip to be fab for wraps using the buffalo bites–so save those leftovers!
In Wisconsin, beer cheese is frequently served with crudités, so I always add some sliced carrots, celery and cucumbers to the plate. Try the cucumbers with the Veggie Blue Cheese Dip, too. SO amazing. If you prep those a day ahead of time, be sure to store them with a little bit of water to keep them fresh.
As far as beer is concerned, you’ll want to use a darker variety. I picked up a cart full of Wisconsin beer at Meijer on a recent trip to Milwaukee. It’s so funny because when I went to school at University of Wisconsin, no one knew what Meijer was! Now they’ve ventured west.
I love that I can grab Tyson chicken strips and Snyder’s pretzels and mix and match the dips. The chicken strips are SO good in the beer cheese!
