If you happen to see me on my social media videos, you know that I’m pretty lax in the beauty department. Usually you’ll find me in glasses, bun and no make-up. As a mom of a 2-month old, plus 3 other kiddos, I barely have time to eat warm food!
I’ve never been a fan of expensive beauty items, especially since I can find quality items and a great price right at Meijer! I have a few go-to beauty essentials to share. Be sure to check your mPerks for extra savings.
If I’m looking to do the bare minimum, which is like every day, I use a scrubbing face wash, like Aveeno Positively Radiant. My go-to moisturizer is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost –I have combination skin and this is the first one that actually doesn’t leave my skin too tight or greasy. With little sleep, a great moisturizer is key. I’ve added an eye cream for those wonderful eye circles a new kiddo brings. Once a week, usually Friday, I like a great clay mask. The line of masks from L’oreal is great because they have options fo every skin type!
Let’s be honest: shaving doesn’t happen every shower, but I love the Gillette comfortglide…you almost don’t need shave cream. After allergic reactions to many shave gels, the Cremo is a lifesaver. It smells fab too!
I’ve noticed my hair really responds much better to products without parabens. I’m so happy mainstream brands now have affordable options. The Herbal Essences Bio-Renew is a favorite fof my girls…it smells delicious too!
