Since I wrote my last post about using Proactiv, I’ve had quite a few people asking me about my progress. Thanks guys…it means a lot! I am proud to announce my skin is still loving Proactiv! It’s not completely clear, especially during a certain time of the month, but it’s SO much better than last year– especially in the fall. I have found my skin to be soft and clearer than ever!
I still cannot stand how the products smell, especially the face wash. I know it’s not a huge deal, but I do love pretty smelling products. If I can trade bad skin for some medicinal smelling face wash, I’ll do it! Aside from the scent, I like the 3-step process. It’s nice to have an easy routine to stick to. Before, I would use different moisturizers and toners, depending on the season or time of day. Now I simply have to use one set of products. Usually in the winter my skin is super dry, yet this year I haven’t noticed any issues!
One of the major concerns that readers had when they approached me about Proactiv was the price. Some people were hesitant to use it, fearing it would be money down the drain. You know I’m a budget minded gal, and I think it’s totally worth it. If you break it down by product, you’ll find it’s less than $5 per item, if you include the 2 moisturizers in the kit. Almost 2 months in, I have over half a bottle of face wash left still and 3/4 bottles of the other products. Not bad at all!
Will I continue to use it? YES. I want to use it for at least 3 months to see how my skin continues to improve. I will admit, I was quite skeptical about using Proactiv, since I figured I was “too old”. From the advertising, I felt as if it was geared towards only teenagers. I will proudly say, as a 32 year old, that I recommend it!
Have you tried Proactiv? What are your opinions?
