We have quite a big announcement here on the blog: I’m pregnant! With Baby #4 on the way, I’m ready to get prepared with all of the essentials…including Luvs diapers!
For the last few years, I’ve been preparing myself as if Gabby was my last baby. Her big “firsts” were always bittersweet because I knew they were my last round of milestones…or so I thought! Since this is my third pregnancy, I kind of know what to expect. But you do forget quite a bit over six years! I have found my body is older now and I feel so much more tired than before. The most exciting thing about this pregnancy was announcing it to the girls. The twins were 1.5-2 years old last time I was pregnant, so they don’t remember much (if anything) at all. Since Gabby has always been the baby of the family, I knew I had to find her a ‘Big Sister’ shirt. Believe it or not, it’s hard to find one in size 6!
A few weeks ago, we sat the girls down after dinner with the news. My growing belly was drawing suspicion with Gabby and Olivia, so I knew it was time. I had sparkly gift bags with tiny report card rewards inside, plus Gabby’s new shirt. I am so happy we got it all on video, it will be cherished forever. Gabby and Maddie caught on to the news right away, but Olivia was clueless for at least a minute past the other two. After they settled, on came the questions–hundreds and hundreds, it seems!
