A fun and budget friendly Halloween craft using Snack Pack Pudding cups and fun color tape! You can make this for any holiday or event!

Fun Halloween Craft: Snack Pack Crazy Monsters!

Disclosure: This post is sponsored. All opinions are my own!

It’s Halloween week! WOOHOO! The outside of our house looks like a graveyard and we are planning a party on Saturday–we just love this time of year. Ricky goes a bit crazy with seasonal decor…we don’t really need buried bones and creepy spiders all over, but it’s fun. You should see Christmas!

Every year, the girls have a big Harvest Party at school where they have a costume parade and everything. I love to bring treats to school, but with food allergy restrictions everything has to be store bought. This fun foodie craft is super simple and can be a huge party hit–plus peanut free!

Perfect for Halloween parties: fun mix-ins and a Snack Pack craft! via @DashOfEvans

When it comes to mix-ins, you can’t really go wrong. Pick up at least 5 different options! We used marshmallows, gummy worms, coconut chips, chocolate chips, fruit and for fun hair, Reddi Whip and licorice strings. For brownie bites, grab some Snack Pack pudding bars, cut into cubes! This can be great for any holiday.  Remember: if it’s for an allergy-free classroom activity to watch the ingredients in the mix-ins!

Use colored tape to decorate Snack Pack pudding cups. Google eyes and a marker smile add the final touch! via @DashOfEvansInstead of painting, we just used fun colored tape. This makes the project quick, budget friendly and almost mess-free. Since the Snack Pack pudding cups have as much calcium as a glass of milk, these are a snack craft I don’t feel to guilty about. Plus, what’s a little sugar? Halloween only comes once a year!

Budget friendly craft: Snack Pack monsters with Halloween mix-ins!

Crazy Monster Pudding Mix-Ins

What You Need:

  • Washi Tape: I love the Scotch variety!
  • Glue-On Googly eyes
  • Permanent marker for mouth
  • Snack Pack pudding cups, whatever flavors you like!
    • There are SO many options, have a fun variety if you’re making this craft at a party
  • Tasty Mix-Ins
    • Ideas: strawberries, mini chocolate chips, cookie crumbles, shredded coconut, sliced bananas, Reddi Whip, marshmallows, gummy worms, licorice strings…let your imagination go wild!
  1. Decorate the Snack Pack with three strips of tape, covering only the front of the pudding cup to make the “face”.
  2. Using glue, add eye(s) and lay flat 15-20 minutes until dry.
  3. Add goofy smile!
  4. When ready to fill with mix-ins, create a station with bowls and spoons. Go crazy!
  5. Enjoy your spooky-fun treat! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This is such a cute Halloween snack idea. I love that the kids can help decorate them and they’re so much healthier than a lot of the traditional Halloween snacks.

Thank you! It was such a quick and easy project. The only hard part was waiting for the eyes to dry! I keep forgetting to buy the adhesive ones.

Thank you! I had to hide the gummy worms so I don’t see them in the cabinet. They are so addicting!

I love this idea for school parties. My kids are some of those allergy kids so we definitely appreciate the pre-packaged foods! Very cute. #client

These look so cute and I love that you can do this with the pudding cups as that makes it even easier. With some school parties coming up soon, this is a great project I can do to make the snack a memorable one!

I’m so excited to share these with my twins’ classrooms–I think the kids are going to LOVE it! The only problem is that they want to keep the cups after.

We don’t have many trick or treaters, but the girls like to walk around for a block or two. It’s always cold and rainy! I hope you guys have fun!
