Box Barilla Pronto Penne

milk

chicken stock

fresh mozzarella
, cubed

Barilla Marinara sauce

Barilla Garlic Alfredo

large handful of fresh basil
, chopped

Optional garnish: Parmesan

Heat a large pot over medium high heat. Add EVOO, onion, green pepper and pesto. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes to heat.

Add sausage and crumble with flat spoon or spatula. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cook until brown.

Add milk, chicken stock and entire box of penne. Raise heat to HIGH and cook uncovered for 10 minutes (set your timer!). Stir frequently.

After 10 minutes, there may be a little liquid left. Do not drain, it's okay! Add marinara, alfredo and mozzarella cubes. Stir over medium heat to warm sauce.

Sprinkle with basil and serve!
This recipe can be done with any of the Barilla Pronto pasta cuts--linguini would be FAB!
