
Shredded chicken is paired with RAGÚ ® Old World Style traditional sauce and cheese to make a quick and delicious game day appetizer. Topped with a drool worthy garlic cheese butter, you WON'T want to miss this recipe!
Preheat oven to 375º. Cut Hawaiian rolls in half. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, add shredded chicken and RAGÚ ® sauce. Mix with a fork. Add 1 cup Italian cheese.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, EVOO, Italian seasoning, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Stir with a spoon. Set aside.
Heat cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil to coat the pan. Turn off once heated (about 3 minutes). Using tongs, fill the rolls with chicken mixture. Top with extra cheese. Place in skillet.
Once all of the rolls are filled, top with melted butter mixture using a brush. Cover the tops of each roll. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
If you don't have a cast iron skillet, simply use a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
