Watermelon Mock-a-Rita

Craving a nice, refreshing mocktail? Look no further than this tasty Watermelon Mock-a-Rita!
Servings: 4 -6 drinks
  • 1 cup DIY Sour Mix
  • 3 cups Fresh Seedless Watermelon
  • 2 limes: 1 sliced into rounds , other sliced in half
  • Agave nectar , to taste
  • Flavored Sparkling Water (I love Simply Balanced Watermelon from Target)
  • Optional: sugar/salt rim to glasses.
  1. In a blender, add watermelon, juice of 1 lime and a drizzle (up to 2 teaspoons) agave nectar. Blend until juiced. Pour into a mason jar.
  2. Using a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup watermelon juice, 1/2 cup DIY sour mix and a drizzle of agave. Add a handful of ice. Shake until chilled.
  3. Rim glasses with sugar/salt mixture.
  4. Pour mockarita into 2-3 glasses. about halfway full. Top with sparkling water.
  5. Use a lime round for garnish. ENJOY!
  6. Tip: to make into a pitcher drink, add 2 cups watermelon juice, 1 cup sour mix, 2 cans sparkling water, plus slices of limes and ice. Agave to taste.
Recipe Notes

To make alcoholic, simply add 1.5 ounces of tequila, coconut rum or vodka to each drink.
