Do you get the Lakeshore Learning catalog? So many fun AND educational options for families, not just teachers. Check out our fun weekend activity!

Our educational weekend fun with Lakeshore Learning products! This Young Scientist kit was SO fun! via @DashOfEvansGrowing up, I always loved doing science experiments. From growing salt crystals to making slides for my microscope, it was one of my favorite weekend activities. Now that my girls are older, I want to instill the love for science in them!

All of the items are high quality and educational, yet also entertaining for kids. I love their catalogs–the girls and I have earmarked so many different pages for Christmas ideas! The first thing we all decided that we needed was the Young Scientist kit. I thought it would be a great way to get their foot in the door for science experiments.

I do wish we had a few extra pairs of safety goggles–they did their experiments one at a time. The kit was perfect for a Saturday afternoon! I let everyone pick out their own experiment and I was there to help along the way. Making sure everyone was following the step-by-step instructions while staying SAFE was important!

How cute are my little scientists?

Our educational weekend fun with Lakeshore Learning products! This one requires a LOT of patience, so I’m glad Maddie picked this one over Gabby. Our educational weekend fun with Lakeshore Learning products! This Young Scientist kit was SO fun! via @DashOfEvansWhile we waited for Maddie’s ball to form (around 20 minutes), Olivia started her experiment. She had to use Hydrogen Peroxide and yeast, plus other ingredients to make Rocket Fuel Foam. Our educational weekend fun with Lakeshore Learning products! Olivia loves to rush through everything, so I made sure she completed every step. Our educational weekend fun with Lakeshore Learning products! This Young Scientist kit was SO fun! via @DashOfEvansThe Rocket Fuel Foam had a major “WOW” factor that the girls LOVED! This will be on the top of our list for our next experiment day! I love how they give you enough supplies for more than one use of each experiment. Very handy! Our educational weekend fun with Lakeshore Learning products! The gloves were a bit on the large side, but she was still able to maneuver in them.

Lakeshore Learning offers 1000’s of other fun activities for kids of all ages. We also ordered the Allowance Game and a working Cash Register! A post about those is coming soon! There are also stores across the country, I know ours is on the east side of the state.

Do you like to do science experiments with your kids? Have you shopped at Lakeshore Learning?

Disclosure: Lakeshore Learning provided products to create this post. All opinions and cute kiddos are my own. 🙂
