Is there anything better than enjoying summer with a nice, chilled glass of iced tea? For me, summer is synonymous with iced tea. I remember growing up and my mom would make big pitchers of sun tea for our meals.
With the chaos of being pregnant and now having a newborn this summer, it’s nice to have a reliable pre-made tea on hand like Tradewinds Tea. Did you know each batch of Tradewinds Tea is slow-brewed using real tea leaves? Just like my mom did growing up. You can buy Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea in portable 18.5 oz bottles or gallon sizes. There’s a variety of flavors to choose from: Sweet Tea, Unsweetened Tea, Green Tea with Honey, Unsweetened Peach, Raspberry, Tea & Lemonade, and Extra Sweet Tea.
After a crazy day, I love to kick back outside on our patio with a nice chilled glass of iced tea. Tradewinds is our go-to because I absolutely love the flavor variety. Southern style sweet tea reminds me of summer vacations to Hilton Head Island and the peach variety has the perfect amount of sweetness. Since I’m nursing, it’s great to have a refreshing drink that quenches my thirst.
While I love smaller bottles for on the go, if you’re planning an end of the summer cookout, be sure to grab the gallon-sized jugs from the grocery store. They’re perfect to pour into a pitcher with some lemon and peach slices on the side. I get fun paper straws from the store and serve with chilled mason jars.
Summer days are long and exhausting. There’s nothing better than sitting outside on our patio with a chilled glass of iced tea in a mason jar. I don’t know what it is about a mason jar that makes everything taste 100x better, but they do! My husband and I like to unwind as the sun sets and reflect on the day- especially to share any funny stories from the kids.
