Easy, cheesy Monte Cristo Sliders. If you're obsessed with Hawaiian roll sliders like we are, these will be a great new addition to your list. Honey ham and Swiss cheese pack these sliders, then they're baked with a delish egg topping. Afterwards, you sprinkle with powdered sugar and dunk in jam. YUM! via @DashOfEvans #FridayNightDinner #GilmoreGirls

Who else LOVES Gilmore Girls (or GG, as I call it)?! My friend Melissa and I are cooking our way through the entire series of Gilmore Girls, one Friday Night Dinner at a time.  Be sure to check out her delish recipes, too, at Simply Whisked.

Love Gilmore Girls and cooking? Be sure to check out delish recipes inspired by the show from @DashOfEvans and @SimplyWhisked!

There comes a point every year, usually in the spring, when I get the urge to marathon Gilmore Girls. It’s always hard to chose where to begin, but there are so many classic episodes that I love to return to. It’s like my version of When You Give A Mouse a Cookie.

When I start with one Gilmore Girls episode, it snowballs into needing to watch entire seasons while sipping on my Miss Patty’s punch. (Side note: the episode when Paris walks the Stars Hollow streets barefoot is SO classic…my punch hasn’t gotten me into too much trouble yet!) Does this happen to anyone else!?

I’ve been slacking on my GG inspired recipes… Melissa is much, much better than me at this! When I decided to make these Monte Cristo sliders, I knew this had to be a GG recipe from one of my favorite episodes The Big One (S3,E16) when Rory hears back from Harvard, Sookie has huge news and Lorelai runs into Max. Luke changes the menu because of Nicole, which is quickly noticed by Lorelai and Rory. Once Lane points out the Monte Cristo is missing, it turns into a classic Lorelai/Luke 1000 word per minute bit.

YUM! via @DashOfEvans #FridayNightDinner #GilmoreGirlsI feel like even Lorelai would be able to make these quick and easy Hawaiian roll sliders. They’re stuffed with ham, swiss and then topped with an egg mixture before baked. After you top with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and dunk into jelly. Are you drooling yet?!
