Have an easy takeout night at home with Ling Ling® Ramen–it goes from the freezer to your table in less than 5 minutes. YUM!
As a kid growing up, take-out meant one thing: Chinese food. No fancy sushi or Ramen–just one local restaurant. Later on, we got a local Mexican restaurant in my small town to switch it up a little. I was able to expand my palate from traveling around the country and world, which was always a fun experience for our family.
When I went of to college, Ramen was a staple in my budget friendly cooking. I ended up making it more fun with eggs, but nothing too fancy. It wasn’t until we were in Chicago for a weekend away that I tried real, Japanese style Ramen. I fell in love with a spicy chicken variety with an egg. Having it at home always seemed a bit too hard to tackle–until now!
Traveling with my kids, I always want them to experience new tastes and sights, as well. The fun part about this day in age, though, is that there are so many great international foods accessible right in the grocery store.
We love to try new recipes and have a weekly Make Your Own Takeout night. While recipes are fun, sometimes we just don’t have a ton of extra time. I love using a little help from the store when I can!
In the grocery freezer section, Ling Ling® Ramen can be found in 4 different varieties. I picked up the Ling Ling® Spicy Miso Chicken Ramen and Ling Ling® Tonkotsu Chicken Ramen to try first. My girls love ramen, too–perfect for our next make your own take-out night! Plus, much cheaper!
These can go from your freezer to the table in less than 5 minutes. Just add water to the designated line, microwave and voila, ramen that tastes like your favorite restaurant! They’re sold in single-serving portions, perfect for on the go at work, too. No more sad desk salads!
To make a super fun take-out night, try grabbing other Ling Ling® entrees for everyone to sample. I think it would be fun to try all 4 Ramen varieties! We topped ours with fresh chopped green onions and some hot sauce on the side. A soft boiled Ramen egg would be a fun topper too!
The Ling Ling® Asian style Ramen noodles have bold, infused broth, vegetables and proteins. The chicken had a nice char on it, just like a Ramen house. It’s crazy that much flavor can come from the freezer section! The broth tastes like it’s been slow roasting all day.
This looks amazing! I love the idea of home making a popular take out item! 🙂
Can’t find this any where anymore. Love it. It’s amazing
I know!! I have been on the hunt, too!
